What is social action?

Seniors at PACE high school are required to do an exit social action project as a prerequisite to graduation.

Social Action is giving back to the community. It is our way to become more aware of the world we live in and leave a lasting impact. (KM)

Over the course of the last four years we have worked hard to accumulate at least 180 hours of community service. Now, as seniors we are organizing our own projects where we will no longer participate but lead. We are no longer merely doers and followers but leaders, and organizers. We chose these projects because this is what interests us, this is what we feel passionately about. We have all changed in four years at PACE, some more than others, and now is our time to give back to our community. Soon we will no longer be consumers of our teachers time and attention, but contributers to the grater good of our community. Check out our blog and find out the many ways that we are giving back to our community.
